Son has been attacked

My middle son was playing football at the village hall when a lad about 1 year older told him if he came near him again he would beat him up.
Anyway my lad was playing football with 4 friends and the ball was kicked off and my boy went to retrieve it. The other boy who was nothing to do with them suddenly got stuck into my lad head banging him and beating him up.
Anyway the result is that my lad has some bad lumps on his head a bruised nose and badly beaten overall.
Now his 4 mates did nothing to help him.
So they called my wife and then went off to the police station in town and they called ahead.
The police station which is one of the biggest in Essex was about to close at 7.30pm!!
They stayed open for my son and his mates and another mother.
Because of his injuries they called the paramedics to check him for concussion but he seemed ok.
The police took photos of his injuries.
They gave a description of the boy and split his friends up and they went to look for the boy.
They found him and apparently doesn't come from our area but quite a distance away and comes to stay with his Nan. Most probably when he causes trouble at his own home.
He has caused problems before and also does kick boxing, so is a psycho anyway.
The police said well he seems a nice lad will an apology be ok
My wife said ' I don't think so!
So now my son has to go to the regional Police station to have more photos taken tomorrow and the police are calling the council to look at CCTV footage of the incident.

I will be surprised if the CCTV was working and even if they go to court the boy will be given a warning.

Now bearing in mind the police often come to our house for son #1 due to past problems you can bet your life they will try and do nothing on this one

Good day in London with family

Saturday up early and then out to London.
1. A boat trip along part of the Thames. Very informative and funny. Did you know that the green lion Heads along the side of each bank of the Thames denotes that if the River reaches here then London is flooding. Therefore ' if the lion drinks then London Sinks'
2. London Eye. Nice view but not keen on the height thing! Anyway, the day was saved when my son saw Wembley.
3. Because of such long queues we went into the Marriott hotel which used to be the Greater London Council HQ. Lovely lunch and peaceful.
4. Walked around. Remembered it was St. Georges day so a number of youngsters in the flag etc.
5. Saw 2 demos and both by Foreign groups. (a) Zimbabweans and (b) Nigerians.
6. Then off to Covent Garden to meet my friend and we had a good Pizza.
7. Got home about 9.30pm

Here we go, this is what we all thought would happen.
there are places in Holland that advertise only gays, but they don't get sued !
Brighton is the gay centre of the UK so it can't be difficult to find somewhere to stay, but according to these two wimmin, they pick the only hotel in Brighton that will only accept families and heterosexual couples.
Maybe it was true that the wimmin didn't have a booking only time will tell, but this is money for the minority and of course for the stupid legal people claiming the Equality Act of 2010 for all and sundry!

We in the Western world really are being dictated to by a few!The trouble is, that it isn't equal and that's where it's wrong.

Real win!

I thought Real would beat Barcelona in the Spanish cup.
I couldn't get a bet on though as I am abroad.
Terrible match though it was more like theatre the way the bookings occurred and footballers fell over themselves.
Anyway it would have been another notch in my good run.

Patience is being lost

My agent was due here today, but has a bad injury from football apparently.
He still hasn't come up with a solution to my contract issue and I have asked for one, copying the bank in as well.
This will be the last time I work for Eurostaff !!
As soon as I get a role elsewhere I will be out of here.

Am I a nincompoop

The agent called me as planned, to say that he has been TOO busy to think about screwing up my contract!
He wants to come and meet me on Thursday to talk about it.
I can see the discussion being short!

He has come up with several classic lines so far as if I haven't heard all the excuses before.
Am I a nincompoop??
(Essentially, a nincompoop is a fool, a stupid person whose incompetence or naïveté is quite apparent)

The bank isn't too pleased either 'cos they want me to stay.

Oh no! Tv is bad

Well I went to my apartment last night.
1. Only German satellite was working and now they have to get someone in to fix.
2. English TV consists 90% of GOD stations
3. I put a DVD in the TV. This didn't work and now I can't get the DVD out!!

Munich is jinxed and too much going wrong.
Best I leave.

I am looking to return to London quickly

My agent having screwed up my contract and there has been a misunderstanding between the bank and them, rang me tonight.
First he said I will be free after 3.30 Munich time to speak with me.
Having sent him a chaser he called me at 18.45 and said ' I did tell you after 3.30'
He must think I am very stupid. Then he was giving me the old chat'how is everything' blah blah.
After about 15 minutes I got fed up and asked what was going on.
He didn't have an answer for me and nor did he mention about cutting their high commission as the bank suggested to give it to me to make up for their mistake.
So I can see that tomorrow when he calls he will give me a stupid offer.
I am now indifferent to what they say 'cos I have had enough and fed up working with idiots and I will make sure that Eurostaff will not get anyone into Unicredit again!!
Those who know me, know that I do not take prisoners, when someone crosses me!!

Munich calling!

I moved into my small apartment last night.
Little kitchenette, bedroom, lounge.
It's a weekly serviced apartment in a secure building.
Still didn't see much English TV channels last night , but the owner will show me later how to get them.
I hope Sky sports is one.
Otherwise it's over the road to watch football.
I have a bier garden come eating house next door but it's a quiet neighbourhood.
Takes about 30-40 minutes to get to work on the metro.

It appears that my agent and the bank have screwed my contract up and they are looking at ways to amend the situation. I will hear on Wednesday when my agent arrives in Munich.
Flight on time last night which was nice.

Home Thursday night for 4 days at home during Easter.

This was after the Grand National Last week where I won.

A Ozzie Hobbit who is economical

So my daughter had dinner with a guy from work and what a bloody weirdo. He said ' do you wanna get a take away and have it at mine rather than eat at the restaurant ' She said 'no' but he then says he's ordered a take out already!, being hungry she thinks 'shall I or not?'. So she said 'not being funny, but in England that's really forward and means something else!' he says 'Oh no, no I just have wine etc at mine and a take out is cheaper!'  Tight arse! being hungry and the fact they are almost neighbours she thought, right ill eat and leave, as he had paid for dinner already and ordered for me! She hates that!

So they walk to his apartment and he's in a work rented place, huge and paid for. 
He then tries to clear his dining room table to eat, but instead of picking things up to move them, he uses his arm and on one fail swoop, he clears the table, so it all goes on the floor! (reminds me of some other people)
He gets some cutlery and throws it down on the table, like he's allergic to it and we eat. We have itailian and he says 'its the best food ever!' when actually it is crap and under cooked.

They start talking about travels and stuff, then it moves onto work where he says, he has lied to all at work about his age, he has said he is thirty, but he is twenty seven, but he actually looks about thirty eight! Not a lot of hope then!!

Anyway, my daughter established that she would like a well mannered, well travelled person, that doesn't think Australia is the new Europe !, yes he actually said that, what a Dick! Someone who isn't a freak like him!

Oh and he walks funny like a hobbit on speed ha ha so all in all she won't take him up on an invite again!

No Spurs earned!

Spurs were knocked out of the Champions League last night in Fine White Hart  Lane glory.
Although 4-0 down in the first leg, after some dodgy Refereeing, they had to come out and attack Real Madrid.
Only some fumble by the Brazilian goalie of Spurs gave Real a goal.
But they still attacked.
I reckon there will be bids for Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Michael Dawson over the Summer.
Let's hope Harry Redknap can keep them all together for at least another season.

Bullshit agents!

I have just found out that my agent must have been spinning me a yarn.
I have just spoken to the next line Manager who employed me and said that there is no agreement for me to claim more than 8 hours a day contrary to what the agent has been telling me.

So guess what!!!

I am out of here as soon as I find something else !!

Life is odd

Last night was a calm night for me.
Watching Liverpool beat Man City, going out to eat at a Turkish restaurant as any Billy No Mates would!

However, I am amazed at the people I see.
I look at them at the airport, train station and just the streets.
I am living in the Kings Cross of Munich!! Yes there is such a thing with laptop dancers etc.

Anyway, I am amazed at the people I see as I love to study people.
The people here are of all sizes and types.
A number of immigrants mixed with tourists.
There are extremes here.
People who are extremely small and those who are extremely large.
The women are the most extreme.
I am seeing women whose legs are almost the thickness of my torso and that ain't small.
It amazes me how they get around or even how they find clothes to fit, but they do.
I haven't seen too many pretty women which I am surprised about being the richest city in Germany.
I must be in the wrong areas.

My boy did well at the weekend and so did I

Saturday my boys team won 11-1 with my boy scoring 2 goals.
Sunday, they won 2-1 with my boy scoring from just inside the halfway line, great shot over goalie's head.
He also won Player of the Month.
3 games to go and if they win all 3 they win the league. Tough call but hopefully they will do it.

I also picked the winner of the Grand National so a good wad of money for me !!

Munich calling

Dull today but hopefully will get sun later.
Going home for the weekend and returning Monday about Noon time.

What is wrong with developers??

I have a developer who takes everything the wrong way.
He has refused to come to a workshop, so i have eliminated him and will tell him when all has been sorted.
Today I found out he sorted an issue out from Production.
I asked what he had fixed and came back and said who told you I did something in Production.
I have now reworded by saying that the issue WAS in Production but he fixed in the Development environment and forwarded the solution to the Production people.

I am sure he will come back with some odd comment.

He must have Aspergers or is just one fucking twisted nut.
On top of that we are having join our team a guy with Aspergers.
I guess this will mean limited discussions going on!!

Munich is nice but a bit odd

Had a walk last night with my American friends around some of Munich.
The buildings are lovely, loads of churches.
For those who don't know Munich is a translation of Monk and the city has a non-questionable tax for the church.
Lovely weather and was able to eat outside last night and have a beer and then walk to a specialist ice cream place that had a queue. I had a rich chocolate with Ginger and some white one. Both very nice.
What is odd is that they love Pretzels and Israeli dates here. Strange bearing in mind the history and that Munich was a centre for Nazis! just a few miles from Austria.
Anyway, the sun is blazing again today but stuck in a room of about 28c suffering

Car up the creek!

About a year ago I bought a Peugeot from Toomey's in Basildon.
Then a few months ago I was going to swap for a BMW. The BMW garage told me that the car had been resprayed. I told them not when I have had the car, so i called Toomey's. They again said that it hadn't and would give a letter to say so, as it was a demo car.

Anyway after a year and the car being 4 years old it was playing up and I took it to my own mechanic who is a BMW expert.
They said the catalytic converter had gone and caused damage to the Exhaust due to the gases build up.
They couldn't understand why the Cat.Converter had gone so soon on the car.
Then they also notice that the paintwork had been changed and now reckon a previous crash may have caused it.
So it has cost me Stg 400 for the converter the rest (total Stg 770) is down to service and replacement of some of the exhaust as the garage managed to save some.

So I am not happy and it appears that Toomey's of Basildon, Essex are crooks!!!!

The exhibitionist in me!

Spurs were thumped!

I couldn't get to see the game here in Munich-thank goodness.
Down to 10 men after 15 minutes !!! What a surprise again ref goes the way of the local Spanish side. Not really biased are they?
I should have had a bet cos I said it would be 4-0

Fräulein in underground

7.30 this morning a Fräulein gets on the train and sits next to me. She was about 55-60.
Obviously been out during the night as I had to endure stale alcohol and the smell of it coming out of her skin.
Not a good morning !!

Bulldog spirit

My project is going no where!
I have NO resources and neither the hardware to complete the project or even start testing.
So I asked the Big boss for a meeting about it.
He sends me an invitation for 6pm tonight.
On the basis that I can do fuck all until I have these, I will have to sit around all day doing bugger all.
Oh well if they want to pay me to do that fine.
He may have thought that I wouldn't be bothered to wait till then.
He obviously, doesn't know me.

Lost the final again

My son's team lost their last final yesterday 4-0.
The other team were much better organized again and their coaches were good and directed them from the line.

Our's stood there not doing much at all except make the wrong substitutions!
The odd thing was that the coach seemed to distance himself from the boys.
He didn't warm them up and at half time came out alone and after the match went off and played football with his son.
Smells a bit fishy to me!
Anyway, the boys enjoyed themselves which is what matters.
The pitch was a much better one than the last final a few weeks ago.

They all complained about the plastic trophies the league gave.
One boy managed to undo his one about 2 minutes after he got it and of course couldn't get it together again.

After the match we had a little lunch laid on and the boys Well you guessed it, went and played football!!!

Frustration

I was asked yesterday how I would test Stochastical financial risk models for certain Var Calculations and transactions.
I was told that it hadn't been thought of before.

This morning after I decided to wake up I thought of a logical way of doing it.
So I typed it up and sent ti to the guy who has developed the calculation tool.

Now he writes back telling me it doesn't work that way at the bank and I should wait for a guy who has been on holiday and ask him how to do it.

So why say they hadn't thought of it. Apparently, they haven't done the testing for this before, but I know fuck all!!!!
