EU's security is safe in the UK hands

The EU are stupid people!
Because we are the first and the UK wanting to pull out, they start to threaten about charging us 50BLN pounds, when we should tell them to piss off!
They threaten to be tough.

In the meantime France and the Dutch may have votes themselves whether to stay in.
Of course its a free for all and if they lose their bribes and expense accounts.
Where is will you not be voted, accountable and not audited for corruption.

Anyway, the most stupid of it all, is that there is little talk of security.
Bearing in mind the abysmal intelligence in France, Germany, Brussels, Spain, Italy, they really can't afford to kick the UK in the teeth.
Little is known about the fact that the UK provides the most useful intelligence to the EU and in fact manage most of all the EU security, Cyber space security. In fact it's a Brit that heads the Security section of the EU.

So all it needs is a kick in the teeth to screw all of the EU security and intelligence!!

Worlds apart

I have a totally different sense of humour than the missus. Here is an example that i thought was hilarious and she didn't get it and after explaining she didn't fell it was funny at all!

A man from Courtsend fell out with his in-laws and banned them from entering the house while he was in it. The wife dutifully carried out his wishes until she was on her death bed and then asked sadly, " I've always been a good wife to you, haven't I Jack?" "Yes dar. None better" he replied. "Then I hope that you grant my last request and let our Mary Alice ride in the first car with you at my funeral?" "Alright my dear" he agreed heavily, "But I'm warning you, it'll spoil my fun!"

I took me 5 minutes to stop laughing. She thought I was a moron!

Business Rates will kill the Tories work

Some business rates very soon will rise by 450%!
On average most will change by 200%.

Business will go bust and the high street and SME's will be killed off.

This is suicide by the Conservatives.
Inflation at the moment is under 1%, so how do they justify this rise and yet there are due to be many strikes.
This smells of the 70's again, when the Unions tried to bring the government down and that was Labour!

This government is losing it's way and I can see big problems ahead.

Local taxs up 200-450%
MP pay rises 25%
Company staff rises 2%

There seems to be a big discretion here and 'what's in it for us' attitude!!

Stinks of Stagflation and trouble

Is the UK heading for stagflation

I was trying to explain to my son, who is taking Economics at 'A' level that economics is in theory historical. So we get a load of historical data over the past 1 month or so and then we know how the economy has performed.
I then explained that eventhough Economics may be based on historical performance and data, how it can be also predictive or forecasted.

Here is one way: Stagflation

In economicsstagflation, a portmanteau of stagnation and inflation, is a situation in which the inflation rate is high, the economic growth rate slows, and unemployment remains steadily high.

I can see this happening for some time now. Manufacturers, retailers etc are putting prices up by upto 30%. In many cases they are using the blame of the Brexit to justify this rise, even before we have announce it.
The rises are based on 8 years of deflation and consolidation and lack of profits by these companies.

Some financial institutions are making record gross profits, but hiding this, by blaming Brexit, offloading debt  from international decisions and making errors in other areas. I know one financial institution wants to lay off 10,000 staff ( decision made last October) to make even more savings, so their news release of lower profits, based on the above, is to hide the fact of layoffs. Yet they want to start to charge for accounts.

Raw materials are rising by 30%. This is both the fact that China has taken at least a 30% ownership in producers or such as rare earth products 95% ownership.

So we are now seeing:

  • Huge increases which in turn raises Inflation.
  • Higher inflation means higher interest rates.
  • Higher interest rates means more companies go bust.
  • Companies go bust or cut costs by higher unemployment.
  • Higher unemployment means more benefits cost
  • More Benefits cost means the government needs more taxes
  • Higher inflation means poor stock markets.
  • Poor stock markets means less investment opportunities.
  • Poor investment means poor economical data.
I think thats enough to show how I am predicting things to go.

How can we abate Stagflation. That's difficult and I am not sure this government will have a clue!
You can bet your life though that the IMF will blame Brexit!!

Sir Beckham!

Ok so his leaked emails state that he wanted to be knighted and did a load of charity work.
Let's take a look at the outrage:
1. His Football talent
2. Putting Premier league on the map.
3. Helped to make Manu the most feared team globally
4. Income from his name alone was massive
5. Helped to make the MLS now more attractive
6. Admired by Pele and royalty
7. Raised hundreds of millions for global charities
8. Started his own children's charity which he donates to.
9. Ambassador for United Nations
10. Helped to win the Olympics for the UK

I am sure many more.

And yet Blair and Cameron gave out knighthoods to their mates who work in the civil service and done nothing.

Ok he had an affair, but so have most people in politics I guess or such celebrities.

So why doesn't he get a knighthood?

I am just saying!!

Paris under seige

Ok so something different.
In the mens office toilets in Paris, I was expecting to see a hygiene notice.
Instead I see a sign on the wall, of what to do if the office was invaded with terrorists.
Basically, showed how you can hide and not get shot.

Seems like they have reinvented the posters from the WW2!!
