Filling up the car is expensive!!

Wife took the car out on Saturday to take our daughter for her cross country run.
Apparently she was in a rush to get back to see me.
In the rush she filled the car with petrol about STGB 65 worth.
I got a call. The car is acting funny! It's spluttering and there is loud banging.
So I said well crawl home and I will call our friendly mechanic.
So we met at the garage and our friendly man said I will look at it in a couple of hours and let you know.
Anyway I said off the cuff ' you did fill it with petrol?' and the reply ' yes you stupid pratt!'
I heard a rustle of the bag and a receipt.
'see I did fill it with unleaded petrol'
' That's alright I said, only it should have been Diesel for a diesel engine !!!'
So the mechanic trying to defuse the atmosphere said ' you will be surprised how common it is!'
Nice man
reply from the wife ' see I am not the only one!!' I am still trying to fathom out the logic.
What is even more surprising is that the wife apologized later, I am still in shock.
Our friend mentioned about insurance.
So the wife calls the Churchill insurance and explains what happened.
' Yes you are covered madam. You do know that you shouldn't have driven it at all!'
The missus said ' yes but I didn't know I put the wrong fuel in' Phew!! got him on the one, smart and quick thinking by the wife.
' you are still covered madam!'
We shall see.
Tomorrow the garage man will let us know the damage.

So with the cost of the petrol, the repair and a tank of Diesel, it's expensive.

Football Sunday

My youngest boy's (10) team won their 1st leg of semi final 4-1 with my lad scoring a left foot lob over the keeper. He is naturally right footed, but I trained him to be both footed. Anyway, great goal!

Middle Son (13) came top of their cup league so are now in the semi final as well. Not bad for a 3rd division team, but play as a real team and do well.

Both boys could have done better than any of the pratts at Spurs yesterday! I turned it off after 22 minutes 3-0 down and a man sent off!!
Spurs need a good defender and a goal scorer!! Hope Harry does something today before the transfer deadline

The truth can hurt!

Wigan's French player Mohamed Diame has said that Wigan is Crap, dull, cold and girls look good at night!

1. It has a poor unemployment rate so the place is dilapidated anyway
2. It does tend to rain alot up there
3. The player has come from playing in Spain, so what else will he say
4. The local government although complaining doesn't show any contenders for good looking girls

I thought that this was quite diplomatic!
What he didn't add was that apart from being good looking at night they are in fact gorgeous mixed with alcohol!!
I hear that bulldogs come 2nd in beauty competitions there!!

Jordan the hypocrit

Headlines in the Sun' I had to dump Alex, he's not the man I fell for, fame went to his head and I told him to go and he refused'

Let's investigate this slag.

She made her money with false boobs and always getting them out.
She seeks publicity in anyway she can
We all knew her marriage was a publicity thing.
Alex being a man is a bit rich as he is a well known and confessed cross dresser
She says that we all make mistakes and that Alex was one. Erhh what about Peter Andre and her other husband(s).
A friend of ours knows her first husband and he said she was always out for what she could get.
She writes books, but actually uses a ghost writer. These are sex books, so I guess she isn't very good at this!

So maybe it's just me, but I think she is a very confused person and needs to get her tits out again as she hasn't been in the public eye for the past week!!!

Basically I can't stand her and hope she gets all she deserves like a judge awarding her new ex-husband about STG 1,5 mio

I have also noticed that when she isn't in the press much she reverts to Jordan and when she doesn't want to be in the press it's her real name

Not accepting Gays in a family hotel is illegal

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/8266097/Gay-couple-awarded-damages-after-Christian-hotel-owners-refused-to-let-them-share-double-room.html

1. I bet the judge was either Gay or knew friends who are
2. We all know it's more difficult to clean sheets with shit on them than woman's white fluid!!!!

So the Judicial system has decided to go against the Bible, the very book they make people swear an Oath on !!!!

They are fucking Mad!!!

World Cup 2022: revealed the extraordinary campaign that brought World Cup to Qatar

World Cup 2022: revealed the extraordinary campaign that brought World Cup to Qatar

The extraordinary scale of Qatar’s successful bid for the 2022 World Cup can be revealed after a Telegraph Sport investigation.

The campaign was extraordinary in terms of its cost – it proposed to spend £27 million last year alone on communications – and in the way it wielded influence from Abuja to Buenos Aires.
Documents seen by Telegraph Sport reveal a microscopic attention to detail in methods of exerting influence over the members of Fifa’s executive committee, who decided the hosts of the 2022 finals.
There is no suggestion that the bid broke any rules, but the revelations illustrate the extraordinary processes that led to the World Cup being awarded to a desert state with fewer inhabitants than Manchester.
These include:
ÞA briefing note proposing that Qatar extend financial assistance to the Argentine Football Association, which suffered a financial crisis in August 2009. This included a suggestion that the Qatari television company Al Jazeera could purchase television rights. The president of the Argentina FA, Julio Grondona, is a member of the Fifa executive committee.
ÞSpending more than $7 million (£4.4 million) recruiting bid ambassadors including former Argentina striker Gabriel Batistuta for £1.4 million, Zinedine Zidane (£1.9 million), Ronald de Boer (£630,000), and Roger Milla (£31,000). Archbishop Desmond Tutu was approached as an ambassador in exchange for a donation of £63,000 to his chosen charities.
ÞDiscussing investment opportunities with Real Madrid and developing an existing relationship with Barcelona. Spain was bidding with Portugal for the 2018 event, and it was alleged during the campaign that they had formed a vote-trading alliance with Qatar. Fifa’s ethics committee investigated but did not pursue the issue because of a lack of evidence. The Qatar bid described the allegations yesterday as “entirely false”.
ÞA proposal to move the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation (which commands four executive committee votes) to Doha from Malaysia, and to offer a number of incentives including the use of a tower block, residential property, cars with diplomatic plates and the use of a private jet.
ÞBid documents proposing to build a football academy in Thailand, home of executive committee member Worawi Makudi, and to extend scouting opportunities in Nigeria, also home of an executive committee member, Amos Adamu, who was banned by Fifa for corruption before the vote.
ÞA gifts budget of £250,000 for “VIPs or VVIPs”. The bid said the money was spent on “modest items” for visitors, many of whom were journalists. Giving “appropriate gifts” is not against regulations, and Qatar said that no gifts were given to executive committee members.
ÞThe Qatari bid sponsoring the Confederation of African Football Congress in Angola last year for £1 million. This gave them the exclusive rights among the bidding nations for the 2022 World Cup to present to delegates.
There is no suggestion that Qatar breached Fifa’s rules or acted improperly. The Fifa guidelines for the bidding process amount to two sides of A4, in contrast to the International Olympic Committee’s extensive protocol. The bid said last night that it was successful because it was “the best”.
“The Qatar bid played within the rules laid down by Fifa at all times,” said a spokesman for the bid. “The ultimate success of our bid was due to the strong presentations we made to Fifa’s ex-co members and the strength and breadth of our case.
“Attempts to smear the success of the Qatari bid are without foundation and are being made without objectively assessing all the bids’ performances or merits.”
Fifa is facing a backlash over its decision to select Qatar because of concerns over the midsummer climate, when temperatures reach 50C, and because of Qatar’s size.
Fifa president Sepp Blatter acknowledged the scepticism over Fifa’s decision on Thursday, saying: “Naturally when you are looking at the country of Qatar, which is a very small country, and when the basic conditions were, and still are, to play in June-July then it may look a bit questionable to go there.”
Sources speaking on behalf of Qatar 2022 confirmed that the budget seen by Telegraph Sport was a genuine document, but said that it was an early draft that was “rejected for being too high”.
The bid did not give details of their final budget for 2010, but said a high level of spending was justified by the need to promote the emirate against more established football nations.
The total communications proposal for a single year of £27 million, which does not include spending on operations, staff, bid-book production or other aspects of the two-year campaign, was almost double the entire £15 million two-year budget for England’s 2018 bid.
Indeed it exceeded the total two-year bid budget for all of their rivals except Australia, which spent £28 million on its campaign. Japan had a bid budget of £6.3 million and South Korea’s package was £7.5 million. The USA did not publish its budget, but the figure has been estimated at £9.4 million, plus private donations.
The Qatar proposal set aside £6.6 million for campaigning at all major football events in 2010, culminating in the World Cup in South Africa, £16.7 million for advertising and marketing and a PR budget of £3.9 million.
A crucial focus for Qatar’s campaign was Africa. The African confederation carried four votes – an important bedrock of support. Qatar had strong links through its Aspire Academy for Sporting Excellence, a government-backed project that runs football development schemes in 10 African nations and in Asia, as well as an academy in Doha.
Most bids – including England’s – promised Fifa they would use the World Cup to aid world football development, but in Aspire Qatar had an asset already active in countries with executive committee members. Qatar discussed extending those programmes and Aspire’s director, Dr Andreas Bleicher, was often a prominent member of bid delegations and acted as a consultant to the bid.
A 2009 bid document listing football and social development projects seen by Telegraph Sport proposed that Aspire “build a football academy in Thailand emulating the Aspire football Dreams Academy in Senegal” and expand grass-roots programmes in Nigeria. Thailand is the home of executive committee member Makudi, and Adamu, a former Nigerian sports minister, was an executive committee member before being banned for corruption by Fifa’s ethics committee.
Lawyers for the bid said last night that this had never been considered: “Our client has never had any discussion regarding Aspire opening an Academy in Thailand.”
The four African votes on Fifa’s ex-co were also crucial to Qatar’s campaign, and the bid sponsored the CAF Congress in Angola in February 2010 for £1  million. The sponsorship gave the bid exclusive access to delegates and the four Fifa executive committee members, AFC president Issa Hayatou of Cameroon, Hany Abu Rida of Egypt, Jacques Anouma of Ivory Coast and Adamu of Nigeria.
The Qatar bid also forged strong links with Spain. Senior officials from the Qatar bid, including chief executive Hassan Al-Thawadi, formerly legal director of the Qatar Investment Authority, planned a three-day visit to Real Madrid in October 2009. The itinerary shows that the day before Real played AC Milan in the Champions League, the delegation intended to meet senior officials from the Spanish club and consultants with links to the Spanish federation.
Sources familiar with the bid process said that possible Qatari investment in Madrid was to be discussed at these meetings. Last night the Qatar bid denied that any meetings with Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez took place.
The connections with Spain were reinforced by the extensive links between Qatar and the new Barcelona leadership. President Sandro Rosell’s company Bonus Sports Marketing helped establish the Aspire Football Dreams programme which scouts more than 600,000 boys in Africa and Asia each year, and coach Pep Guardiola spent two years in Qatar. The ties were formalised eight days after Qatar’s victory when Barcelona announced that the Qatar Foundation, chaired by the Emir’s wife Sheikha Hamoza, would be the club’s shirt sponsor.
The bid said that there was nothing improper in its links with the two Spanish clubs. “Our client and Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence have sought to build relationships with many clubs around the world. There is nothing improper in that whatsoever.”
Qatar also courted South American voters, and it was suggested that the near-financial collapse of the Argentine professional league in August 2009 might provide an opportunity. With Argentine tax authorities seeking £49 million from clubs who were in debt to their own players, Argentine Football Association president and Fifa executive committee member Grondona delayed the club calendar and was seeking improved TV deals to try and save the league.
A bid briefing note suggests offering financial support. It reads: “Al Jazeera Sports to contact AFA about broadcasting rights in Argentina. Can Al Jazeera Sports help?” It continues: “QFA [Qatar FA] to investigate further how to help the clubs with their growing debt. Qatar to be seen as helping football clubs in trouble.”
Lawyers for the bid said last night: “It is true that our client carried out detailed due diligence on the Asociacion de Futbol Argentina, as it did in respect of many other football associations around the world [as no doubt did other bids]. However ... our client did not adopt or proceed with any steps to intervene in or assist with the financial position of it.’’
Qatar also retained former Batistuta as an ambassador. Batistuta had also played in Qatar and is understood to have been paid £1.4 million. Zidane is understood to have been retained for £1.9 million. The bid would not comment on the terms offered to the ambassadors, citing confidentiality.

What does Platini know???

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/european/8253566/Michel-Platini-insists-he-is-prepared-to-ban-clubs-from-Champions-League-if-they-do-not-comply-with-regulations.html

Michel Platini insists he is prepared to ban clubs from Champions League if they do not comply with regulations

Michel Platini has warned clubs who are running at huge losses, notably Manchester City, that Uefa would not shirk from issuing Champions League bans if new rules governing ‘financial fair-play’ are broken.

This is Platini to again have a go at British clubs. Let's make it clear he hates the British game.
If this is the case why hasn't he picked on Real Madrid and other famous clubs!
This guy should be banned as being anglo phobic as well as a total bore.

If it were other clubs and the FA complained he would say it was typical British jealousy.
So let's take a look.
It would rule out:
  • Manchester United
  • Manchester City
  • Arsenal
  • Chelsea
  • Liverpool
The only one left is Spurs because they are cash rich.

So this will leave the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Marseilles, Lyon, Paris St.Germain, Bayern Munich etc etc. Isn't it funny how all the UK teams disappear a major tournament.???

PC Loonies strike again

A teacher has been found guilty of unacceptable professional conduct after letting two teenage pupils go sledging in the snow.Skip related content
Design and technology teacher Richard Tremelling was sacked by the Cefn Hengoed Community School in Swansea after he failed to follow the school's health and safety policy.
Mr Tremelling, 37, had taken the sledge into school after it snowed overnight in February 2009 to show his GCSE class its "classic design".
When two boys asked to try it out at the end of the lesson he took them sledging on the snow-covered grounds.
Despite no harm coming to the boys, the teacher was initially suspended.
Mr Tremelling was accused of failing to consult the head teacher, or writing to the school governors before setting off.
And while he maintained he risk-assessed the activity before it began, he was told he should have done it in writing.
Within 11 months he was dismissed from duty for allegedly failing to follow the school's health and safety policy.
In all, he was accused of nine separate breaches, amounting to an alleged failure in his duty of care to pupils.
The sledge in question was a Scandinavian "snow racer" which was an "exceedingly stable sledge", Mr Tremelling told the hearing in Cardiff.
He said: "I did not go sledding on a cheap Asda £10 sledge, I went on a Scandinavian classic design sledge which has built-in safety features, and also a brake."
He agreed that neither of the pupils involved had worn protective masks, but said he did not believe they were necessary.
School policy stated that written permission was needed for any outside activity or visit.
But Mr Tremelling said that because the sledging took place during the morning break directly after the lesson, it was simply a continuation of classroom teaching.
As such he did not regard it as either an official activity because it was within school, or a visit out of school.
An independent assessment had later been made of the sledging which concluded "no significant risk" was presented by Mr Tremelling's actions.
The General Teaching Council's professional conduct committee found him guilty of four out of nine charges: that he allowed pupils to go sledging; did not have head teacher's permission; ignored cautionary words of warning from colleagues; and denied the allegation when questioned by the head.
He was cleared of five charges, including that there was no risk assement, there was no parental consent and health and safety guidelines were not followed.
The committee ruled that he can remain a teacher and his charge will be removed after two years.

I hate 2 faced people

Work colleagues who are nice to your face and ask you to do them favours (off the record) and then go and talk about you to other people, not in a nice way, are generally hiding their own deficiencies and are completely untrustworthy.

I hate these kind of people, because they can't confront people face to face and are generally bad Managers!

Another weekend and flight

Nice weekend at home although the sewer drain blocked again.

It was a comedy at the airport this morning in Stansted.
1. Flight was well on time
2. They call the flight and call for 2 lines (a) Speedy boarding which pays extra (b) Normal boarding
3. An Indian couple who by the look of them you know have not paid extra. They try and get on with the first group and are sent back to the normal line
4. They call for children and people who need help. A Turkish woman shows up and please ignorance and is sent back to normal queue
5. Guy comes up and says did someone call my name. NO he is sent to back of normal queue
6. As we queue to go on plane as usual a FAT Nigerian woman can't wait with the plebs as it's beneath Nigerians, so she just walks past all the normal people to go with the Speedy Boarders. I just said in a loud voice ' What a fucking cheek' but as no one took the bait I just laughed.

The flight was at Amsterdam 30 minutes early but we had to fly around for that time to land and then a 15 minute taxi. So basically we got in lateTossers!!!

Abu Dhabi oddities come to light

When I was in Abu Dhabi there was a period when the weather was ok, but a little way from Abu Dhabi in Al Ain they were having monsoon rain and flooding. This I thought at the time was very odd, but didn't know why.
Anyway it has come to light, that without reference to the natives they were testing making rain.

The secret project has caused 50 storms in July and August at the height of summer.

They had been using giant ionisers top create fields of negatively charged particles, or ions, in the air. These created clouds which produced rain.

So apart from being Oil rich the UAE will now become water rich!!

Trans-gender charges the tax payer

There is a trans-gender in my region who was married 3 times as a man and then decides he is a woman!
So does he have lesbian tendencies???

Anyway his operation wasn't as good as IT thought so then blames the NHS for fucking up!
Now IT is having a boob job thanks to the crap legal system here and now we as tax payers have to pay STG 86,000 which is the lawyers fees etc and IT's boob job!

Why do we have to pay when a person wants to change sex. Insurance companies won't pay out for ACT OF GOD!!!

By the way a good 65% of trans-genders end up committing suicide because their minds are so fucked up !!
