1. less tax from petrol
2. We would need a transport infrastructure far in excess of what we have
3. The transport will need to be almost 24 hours
4. Transport will need policing for drunks etc

Although maybe good for jobs the expense isn't worth it according to the government.

A morning on the Munich undergraound (U-Bahn)

So as I get on at the start of the U-Bahn U3, I would expect plenty of room.
Well I am wrong. Hundreds of school children are on the train and taking the seats.
I wouldn't mind but they only go one stop! Walking it's about 400metres.

So I sit down and am dozing. Then I feel this pushing and shoving etc and I open my eyes to see a blind guy standing next to me with his big white stick still tapping.
None of the the Germans get up for him, so I stand and direct him him to sit down etc.
Then the bugger gets off 2 stops later! I could feel everyone looking at me and thinking ' what a mug!'
Anyway, I have to change trains and on the platforms here there are overhead projectors that show adverts and news items on the screens on the opposite wall.
Before each trian there is a sign Achtung!: U-Bahn fährt ein.
And I am thinking why warn people that there is some unwanted wind on the underground?
I reach my station and my bank is about 75 yards from the station and there is another wally putting ear muffs on! what are these people on??

Blatter the sneaky lying Swissman at FIFA

Blatter screwed the UK for the World Cup, has refused in the past to resign, backs down when Prince William engages in the poppy argument with FIFA and then says there is no racism in football.
Well what has all the complaints by the UK black players been in Spain, Italy, Turkey etc etc.
The guy is a complete teflon man who thinks nothing will stick on him and will never resign.
FIFA should have a vote of no confidence and even then it will take a while for him to realize NO ONE LIKES the guy!!

Woman dressed up sitting there with her oxygen mask on!
She gets off the train pulling her' friend'. Yes you got it a fucking oxygen bottle!!!

So the UK annually remembers those who lost their lives in all wars with Poppy day.
For the past 2 weeks football clubs have had poppies on the shirts.
This Saturday England wanted to do the same.
FIFA and Sep Blatter have said 'No'.
The reason, because football should be free from politics etc.
No one told him that about the UK bid for the world cup did they!

The FA could get around this.
Let the players use stick-ons then FIFA will have to fine every single player in the football league. Approx. 1500

The FA should tell FIFA to get lost. Not only on this but other decisions against England which they seem keen to knock all the time, including that frog Platini who said he hates England.

No Prisoners!

Well it seems that the Germans haven't changed since WW2.
The underground called U-Bahn is efficient there is no denying.
However, at what expense.
Think of ' Little Britain' and a new sketch.
Guy in a wheel chair trying to get onto the train. He can't quite get up the little rise from the platform to the train.
Then the train driver says ' all aboard!' in German.
Then tries to close the doors.
The guy in the wheel chair is still stuck and the doors closing on him.
You can imagine the train pulling out and down the tunnel with the guy still hanging halfway out flapping his arms!!
This happened yesterday on my train but luckily a guy opened the doors and pushed the guy in, nearly missing the train himself !!

Help!!!!!

Back in the land of inbreds!
Can't help it, but I hate it here in Munich.
It has convinced me that if I go to a hotel where they stay and put towels out, I will be running out and taking the towels off.
In the morning people rush to get on trains and push people out of the way! even the invalids, which there seems to be a large amount of here.
People walk around eating all the time as well.
