Monday Morning feeling

OH GOD, I HATE GETTING OLD

It’s seems like every year, I‘m fading a bit
It's a process of aging, I am told.
This body doesn’t work, the way it use to.
Oh god, I hate getting old.

The color of my hair has turned to silver.
My youth, which time has stole
The pep in my step, is fading fast.
Oh god, how I hate getting old.

Some of my friends are already gone.
They’re in a grave; so lifeless and cold.
If they were still here, I would hear them saying
Oh God, I hate getting old

We all want to live as long as we can
Whether you are poor; or you have riches and gold.
Whether rich or poor, we all must die.
Oh god, I just hate getting old.

We are all dealt, different cards in life.
It’s a hand, one day you must fold.
When youth is gone, we wonder where it went
Oh god, I hate getting old

If your life was like a phone call
You, could put your age on hold
But father time, will not be denied
Oh God, I just hate getting old

When I say to myself, I’m still young
It’s wishful thinking, to be so bold.
I look in the mirror, and reality sets in
Oh, God, I hate getting old.

I have my fluffy bread!!

I have been looking for bread similar to that we get in the UK.
Now in European terms this is useless bread, but it's bread I have been brought up with.

So I took a German colleague yesterday saying I wanted bread that was white or Brown, sliced and not weighing like a brick etc.

We walked into the supermarket I go to and have never seen it and there it was.
The Germans call it fluffy bread because it doesn't weigh a tonne!

I am happy now although it's a little dry, but I can have my jam sandwiches with my coffee!

Woman scared of flying

Standing at Stansted yesterday waiting to board, there was a woman who was dressed in various bright colours. She seemed like a 'cat on a hot tinned roof'. Anyway I thought nothing of it.
Then as I was in the front row of the plane, as I am ' speedy Boarder' she sat next to me.
At the point of taxi-ing I started to talk to the stewardesses and one started to look at the woman next me.
Anyway, this woman was crying. So she asked for a tissue and the stewardess said she couldn't get up as they were about to take off.
Anyway, being the gent I am, I gave her my handkerchief.
She cried into it and blew her nose into it.
She said it was the flying and she was scared.

So we are coming near to Munich and the woman asked me if I wanted my handkerchief back.
Err let me think, she blew her nose into it and i would have to wash it, NO thanks!!

strange day

My daughter has left Australia and is returning to UK
Munich thinks the world is at an end, because there are loads of transport police around and the trains are having problems!

Easyjet are Nutz!!!!!

On this mornings flight it was announced that one passenger, who wasn't known ( in fact I think I heard the Cabin Mgr say it was her) had a nut allergy. In view of this NO nuts or anything containing nuts would be offered to the other 117 passengers!

Of course I queried this and as usual was told ' company policy' she seemed a bit indignant that I had asked. I asked if the person was allergic from the smell or what, because otherwise that person wouldn't order nuts and would presumably, if that bad, have their own food with them!!!

Email going to Easyjet!!
