Men's TV programmes

Ok so I am home and there is the TV. Programmes include:

The Jeremy Kyle show ( Personal Problem show )
Loose Women ( bunch of highly strung women slagging off men)
A plethora of series which is for women
This Morning with cooking and craft and troubles
Country house
DIY (try to catch out the old man)
Sell stuff from the attic
The Gentle sex
etc etc

Now call me a mean old git. But why isn't there a programme for men called ' Mens World' or ' I haven't got a headache' etc
No, the producers would consider this and infringment on wimiins rights and someone like Jermaine Greer would be up in arms threatening to sue the TV company.

Why do they have Womens nights with waiters with their arses sticking out ready to be slapt etc.
But if there is a Gents smoking evening with strippers we are all 'pervs'?

Why I want to know!!!!

Reading sociology

So I am going through my mid-life and trying to find out what life is all about!
The 'A' level book starts with Religion.
Apparently, they say, religion is a form of categorisation to 'haves' and 'have nots'.
It defines what Sects and Cults are, which is quite interesting as the Methodist church was a sect.
Cults are short lived and can end in catastrophe.In essence a means of making one ego maniac money.

What I did think interesting is the link of Marxism and religion.
Apparently, with Marxism doing away with class or categorisation, (except in Animal Farm!) means that there is no need for religion.
Hence, why Russia tried to get rid of the Christian church and others.

I will update you on more bits of info as I go along.

A Question to all!!

Since I was born the UK charities keep begging for money.

Now it's a case of 'if you can spare Stg2 a month please call'
when you call, they ask if you can make it Stg5 or Stg10. Bastards!!

So now to my question!

After all of these years of begging and us sending money to Africa, which is where most goes. Has it made any difference?????

Madonna's new film

So Madonna is seeking publicity again.
She will get it, but it will be her downfall.

A film made that depicts the Queen as a bitch and Wallis Simpson as kind hearted and causing a future King to abdicate, will not endear her to the Brits.
Madoona can of course relate to Wallis Simpson from her own experiences. I rememebr when she first came on the scene and was interviewed on the 6 o clock show on ITV.
On this, she stated that she had slept herself to the top and would continue doing so. Well she wasn't wrong there then, hence her experience!!
