3 am catastrophe

It was like a Hitchcock scene at 3am.
Eldest son rushes into bedroom, shouting there is a leak! I thought someone had been stabbed or something.
So I get up and go down. The kitchen is awash with water coming through the lights and ceiling.

Anyway, after about 30 mins it was all under control!
Water pipes turned off for the pumps that work the shower water supply.
Towels ringing wet from the same cupboard.

I don't go back to bed, as my son had to get up at 5.15 and I ran him to the station.
At 6.15, I here my wife screaming at the other son.
He got up and went into a crazy fit, 'cos the shower wasn't working.
' well you will have to have a wash' I said.
'How do I do that without a shower?' he asked
' from the basin and using your hands and soap' I said!

Then I just laugh at the thought, that one day I won't be here and they won't have a clue!!

Where are the life skills?
Where is the common sense?
Where are they coming from?
I have no idea, but neither do they! Lol..........

Life is running away

Well it's nearly Xmas 2015 and I am nearly 60.
I feel 28 and my brain says I am 28, but the young girls say I am - well yuk!!
I still have an active mind and can transport myself with my body and legs, where as others can't.
Getting up in the morning at about 6am is becoming a drag, especially as I am a bad sleeper or just don't sleep much. I am sure my wife will say it's my snoring though.

Anyway, the point is that I feel there must be something else to my twilight years.
How about living in a warm climate and having an amazing sea view or mountain view.
What about my bucket list? when will I do any of it. I thought the missus might allow me one deviation in my life, but no, that would be fun! I do get a Kelly Brook calendar though, that I have to have in my office and not the house.

I can't stand those inane and fixed programmes on tv. Xfactor, Strictly come dancing, Britains got talent. OMG ! what about Jeremy Kyle show, he who is getting divorced and giving other people advice!! Take a cup of your own tea mate. I am not ready to retire- honestly.

So before you start feeling like me, get out there and do what you want to, before it's too late!!

Cameron, EU and climate change

So David Cameron goes to the EU summit and says ' UK wants 4 years before we pay benefits to immigrants or temporary immigrants!'.
The Polish minister, surprise, surprise says they don't agree.
Of course not! they get free money, as well as working off the books and then send their 'hard earned cash' back to Poland to help their economy!
I do know that alot of Polish are honourable people, but this highlights the stupidity of governments and what spongers can do.

So Cameron apparently, is now dropping this, which was a fundamental request from the tax payer of the UK who can't get decent if any benefits themselves.
I can see, that when the referendum comes, voters will vote to come out of the EU, because he is too jelly knee'd to push ahead with the reform.
Then what will the EU do without our significant contributions. The cash they lose , they will have to ask the other governments to pay, including the poorer ones.

The conference in Paris for the climate change is a farce. Developing countries get payments to help them turn away from fossil fuel.
This means countries like India get a payment and yet they have a space programme!
Maybe, they are looking to colonise in space?!
Another stumbling block was that China wanted a payment as well, because they consider themselves still a developing country.!
After the last 10 years of serious growth that is way beyond the western world, I don't know how they intend to define this . Their growth rate is now reduced from near 12% down to 6%. So how does that work?

It's all bollox at the end of the day and its about what is in it for the banks and the government officials.
Otherwise, God forbid, they might say something like ' lets save the world for our children and their children!'
Oh and this should have been done 25 years ago!

Xmas is coming and the goose is getting fat

2015 December

After 5 months out of work I have now found a good job.

We are living in fear of numerous things:
1. Isis and where they will strike next
2. Mohammads birthday 24/12 and if the Isis will strike
3. The EU and if there is a compromise to keep the UK in.
4. FIFA and who is left that isn't corrupt
5. Which football managers will get the sack this month
6. How much the MP's will claim in expenses
7. How much money will government squander. Our taxes!
8. How much more will the UK give to India, which is now more wealthy than the UK, but is              considered a developing country and has a space programme.
9. How many long term visitors will the EU get from the whole of the African/Arab continent.
10. How does reducing hospitals, making massive cut backs etc and allow us to have a decent NHS and to keep to A&E seeing patients within 4 hours ( currently only 2 appear to do this in the SouthEast of UK)
11. How comes we are paying more and more in Council taxes and yet the Police are being cut back, the refuse collections are less, lights are being switched off, doctors are closing and road repairs are being cut back.
12. How willSpurs get into the Champions league.
13. And how the hell does Santa get down my chimney??

It's all a load of miracles.

Hopefully 2016 will enlighten us.

This Government is a complete mass of chaos

Ok so lets see what happening:
1. EU negotiations to get more power back to the UK
2. Family credits is in chaos
3. The Conservatives have upset the Saudi's a major trading partner
4. Immigration in chaos with our population to go up 10 million and make the UK the most populated in EU.
5. Housing chaos with availability and cost
6. Police in melt down and soon no police on the beat
7. NHS in meltdown
8. Opposition deputy leader makes accusations and ruins people lives, but isn't accountable.
9. Opposition leader is a communist and supports extremists
10. Not enough females in top positions, even if they are no good

I will leave this at 10 points, but it doesn't look good in the UK.
You can't tell me that the economy is moving up. These are false figures and we are in fact bankrupt, with years to get back in the black.
If we stop donations abroad we could repay approx. 100 bln pounds in debt.

Something has to give!
I believe it may start with people refusing to pay council tax, which include Police and refuse collections which have been halved in many areas.
The British electorate are not stupid, but the MP's are!

Migrants to UK from Syria

So we see the pictures if migrants trying to come to the UK in the newspapers and on TV.
Of course it's a tragedy, but some people may not realize some consequences.
In todays newspapers it notes that Muslims in the UK under Sharia law, can have multiple wives and some fathers have up to 20 children.
So in 2 cases on tv they had 6 and 8 children.
If we can presume that each will have 20 children, which then means that within say 25 years, our population will grow in this case by 280 children and it grows exponentially.
I know from my working and living in the Middle East, that this is not an unusual situation and I find this scary, from a population growth point of view! Expect 2 million people to leave Syria and distribute themselves over Europe, as a minimum, now make your own calculations.

Anarchy in Essex, UK

Ok so our town has a population of 18-20,000 people, in Essex.
We have a drug problem of users plus cannabis growers, plus a river that the police helicopter used to check out every day for smugglers.
Now the police have decided to close the police station, that was one of the largest and one that had cells in Essex.
Previous to this the council now turn off the street lights at midnight and the police station was only part-time in past months, only opening 12.00-18.00 hrs on week days.
Lately, we are beginning to see vandalism and basically, the start of Anarchy.
The nearest police to us now are 10 miles away and again it will only open 9.00-17.00 hours on weekdays.
What will happen?
Well it doesn't take a brain box to think of this, but maybe the councils and government should listen to it's electorate.
We will see:
More vandalism
More theft
More damage
More drugs
No more law.

This will eventually lead to a more local and private police force, paid by the residents, and yet, the council still charges us for this service!!

Maybe the government could offer jobs to the migrants immediately, and cover this gap?
